Every piece we engrave is done in our own workshop just outside London — not sent out, not subcontracted.

The engraving is cut with a high-powered laser, positioned and checked by hand on each individual piece. It removes layers of titanium or stainless steel to etch into the metal, rather than printing or coating the surface. That's why it can't rub off, fade under sweat, or wear away at the edges the way a surface mark does.

Where it sits. Most pieces can be engraved discreetly on the inside of the clasp, so only the wearer knows it's there, or on the outside for a bolder look. Both are permanent.

How much fits. Character limits vary by piece — a slim chain clasp holds less than a titanium cuff. Each product page shows its own limit. Shorter text engraves larger and reads more cleanly, so initials, a date or coordinates usually look better than a full sentence.
