Shell pearl rather than freshwater: cut from mollusc shell and polished, which gives even colour, consistent sizing and a lustre that doesn't dull. It's also considerably tougher than a natural pearl, which matters for something worn against a collar every day.

The clasp and signature bead are 316L stainless steel or 18K gold-plated steel, so the hardware won't tarnish where it meets the pearl.

Are these real pearls?

They're shell pearls — cut and polished from mollusc shell rather than grown inside a live one. That gives even colour, consistent sizing across the whole strand, a lustre that doesn't dull, and considerably more durability than a cultured pearl. What size should I choose — 6mm, 8mm or 10mm?

6mm reads like a fine chain and is the most understated. 8mm is the standard and the one most men buy. 10mm is a statement and wants a plain backdrop. All three are the same price, so it's purely about how you want it to read.

Will it fit?

Yes — the length is adjustable, so you don't need measurements to buy one as a gift. On most men it sits at or just below the collarbone.

Can I wear it every day?

Yes. Put it on after aftershave and grooming products and take it off first, then wipe it with a soft dry cloth. Those products are what dull a pearl surface over time, not wear itself.
