A small range — the Navigator compass and the Valor rose, in sterling and in gold-plated sterling. Both are noticeably heavier in the hand than the steel versions and take a deeper polish.

Sterling behaves differently to the rest of what we make, and it's worth knowing before you buy. It's a softer metal, so it marks more easily. It also tarnishes: silver reacts with sulphur in the air and with sweat, and dulls over time. That's normal rather than damage, and a polishing cloth brings it back in a minute — but if you'd rather never think about it, the stainless steel versions of the same designs sit in the silver collection.
